It may depend on the state, but I had a similar issue in Dec. Went to DMV without an appointment. Brought a good book. 😉 When it was finally my turn, I explained the problem & got a temporary, paper license good until a month after my scheduled appointment. Good luck!

I'll be 80 on my next birthday. Had 2 years of Spanish in HS & have forgotten nearly all of it. 3 major joint replacements plus rheumatoid arthritis. I stood up and danced the entire time with a great big smile on my face! Love is stronger than hate!!
