Everyone should watch Space Sweepers (2021) right now
A black and white line drawing. The image shows a giant snake with a swastika for an eye. The snake is being killed by two medieval style knights, there are three downward facing arrows piercing the snakes neck. The caption reads: Teamwork.
Always a good day to make new friends
I'm a TTRPG layout designer and have done map overlays with MCDM. You can find a selection of my work here:

Visitors to the Museum of the Uncanny see a carefully curated collection of strange artifacts from across history.
But what they don’t see is the place where the strangest items are kept.
That sounds so cool!
Something I've gained a lot from is actually escape room theory. There's a lot of good game design fundamentals in escape room writing, especially if you're writing challenge games
Board games are a treasure trove of interesting mechanics, but I also would implore RPG designers to do a deep dive into poetry too.
Understanding how words evoke emotion will give you the tools to understand how game mechanics do too. After all, it’s all metaphor and symbolism.
My advice to writers is to pick up the rocket launcher on level three, behind the hidden door in the yellow key room.

I say this as someone who mostly enjoys genre fiction btw
“If I wanted to read real-life drama I’d go on Facebook!”
-guy who thinks his high school friends’ arguments have the same literary merit as James Baldwin
I think this is still a common enough thing to not be a “let men be masculine” take, but people who sight-unseen reject any work of fiction that doesn’t have “genre” elements are being as narrow-minded as any creative writing professor who says you can’t write sci fi
Shout out to women today, especially me, the woman I made myself into
For International Women's Day you should uhhhh hire a trans woman 🥴
Re-upping this for International Women's Day.

Pauly Walnuts very seriously telling someone that “it’s called Broad daylight because women light up the world”
international women’s day
It’s a panel from powerup comics where the text has been edited: “what’s your opinion on women’s day as far as I’m concerned, all days are for women”
Watching Clerks, but it’s on the Criterion Channel so it’s classy
ID: Tommy Wiseau in The Room
I remember reading some golden age outlaw comic books that had a big disclaimer at the top of every page that said OBEY THE LAW.
Thinking about that again for no reason

People usually treat the dynamic of "guy who wants so so badly to kill for another person but the other person is also the only one keeping them from killing" as a romantic dynamic, or at least an angsty reformed villain situation, but it is also the precise dynamic between Sam Vimes and his butler
Only if Sarah Michelle Gellar helms this one too
Speaking of bundles: the No ICE in Minnesota bundle has only a little over a week left! Let's see if we can reach the next goal of $700,000!
