It’s incredibly sad. The world is in a horrible place. Denji has greatly suffered simply because he’s ChainsawMan. Pochita seems tired of seeing Denji’s dreams come true only to be crushed.

It’s genuinely sad to see. I feel Fuji wasn’t able to shape the story like he wanted.
As much as I enjoyed part 2, especially Denji and Asa, it felt like it was floundering in the latter half. Very strong character moments, but the plot got lost by the end. It felt like Fuji was having trouble. It’s all very abrupt.
Still one of my favorite series.
