Tail light turned triode, AKA external grid triode. This is an ordinary dual filament automotive light bulb showing linear voltage gain. The foil cap/external grid is negatively biased to a few hundred volts.

My seed-grown purple golden currants are having their first blooms this year, right on time :-)

My first seed-grown citrus is a perfect tiny kishu-like mandarin, incredibly sweet and flavorful, with a single fully developed seed (several tiny aborts). I look forward to what this little plant will do in the future.

Theobroma grandiflorum - the fruit pulp itself is overwhelming, but mixed with milk and a bit of sugar it becomes a wonderful drink. It has similar notes to cacao fruit, but with more sour and bitter flavors. I like it more than any chocolate drink I have ever had to be certain!
