But it's not just that MORE coal was burned last year. Coal was being burned DIRTIER, with more air pollution per amount of electricity producedβbecause operation of installed air pollution control equipment was being reduced or turned off.
As my colleague, Amanda Levin, explained to the WSJ: 6/
