US media discourse treating US military casualties like the only deaths that matter in this IS making me lose my mind and I know it's nothing new at all but holy shit I would have lost my mind if I'd been old enough to understand what was going on in Dubya
I'm unsure if this makes Trials a retcon, or if the subsequent brush with the Nameless and its impact on the bond changed what messed with it, but for now, I call this a wash (which is a shame, considerin that scene is one of my favorite terekeeve bits, and having them alone would have been awesome)
Two panels. The Ataraxia shoots through hyperspace, as Avar Kriss asks "Can you still sense your bond-twin, Ceret?" The second panel features the interior of the ship, with Avar resting a hand on Ceret's chair. They respond: "We would be worried if we couldn't, Avar Kriss. We are, in essence, the same being. At least, the same mind. Even at this distance, we experience the other's thoughts, because they are our thoughts."
However, in the next issue, we see Ceret explicitly confirming they're able to sense Terec, pretty unambiguously during hyperspace:
A series of Nihil ships jumping to hyperspace, with one saying "Now let's get the crik outta here."
Two panels. The first shows Keeve with her hand on Terec's shoulder (both in Nihil disguise), with the second showing their captured stormship in hyperspace. Keeve's dialogue reads: "I guess we're fugitives now. Firing on a vector? That's something I never wanted to do..."
the long and short of it is that it's revealed in the trials of the jedi that going into hyperspace disrupts the bond between Terec and Ceret. By that logic, this is Keeve and Terec's first scene truly alone together.
the epic highs and lows of thinking I discovered a new terekeeve fun fact when I actually found a possible hole in the lore (or something to be expanded upon in the future!)
A drawing of my knight OCs Douglas and Willow. They are on the forest floor, Willow more laying down with Douglas leaning over him, his visor half pushed up, pressing a kiss on Willows helmet.

A pencil sketch of Reva Sevander holding a lightsaber, in the entry to someoneβs residence. Her hair is drawn shorter than her canon appearance and she wears no cape.

A messy sketch with pen and single-toned marker of Keeve Trennis in pajamas opening curtains in her apartment
Keeve having a well-deserved slow morning
A show whose production cost was equal to the GDP of a few Outer Rim planets is really just backdrop for weirdos to scheme with each other.
for now, I think the most active participants in some form of rebellion that I have in the swapverse are:
-Fifth and Seventh
-Tualon
-Iskat (joins Tualon after empire attacks Pkori)
-Reva (goal here is still against Vader)
-Masana (keeping a young Reva safe gives her purpose)
Iskat feels complicated about Tualonβs goals, but she loves him, and believes in his/their ability to make a better Jedi Order, if they make it that far at all. Seventh agrees with Fifth on the fight against the empire taking priority for the two of them
Tualonβs priority is making a stand against the Empire for the Jedi (heβs this universeβs Cal analogue), whereas Fifthβwhile not opposed to the Jedi angleβis more about taking a stand against the Empire period, and the Jedi goal can spring from it later.
(fwiw, tualon doesnβt have the rosiest thoughts about the republic either especially as it relates to ryloth and worlds on adjacent axes of oppression, but he considers it the best banner to unite under now and the politicians can argue later. heβdespite hating itβis a soldier)
tualon: well, weβre part of the alliance to restore the republic, yeah?
fifth: wait a fucking second
(really, this is fifth and tualonβs fight in this au, but seventh and iskat will put their time in to have their own convictions as well. this isnβt to say they donβt, but seventhβs original motivation was βI want something to burnβ and iskat needed to soul-search first)
inquisitor swap au except that instead of fifth and iskat arguing about being inquisitors theyβre arguing about the political principles of rebellion and how they choose to rebel
A sketch of Iskat, Seventh, Lyn, Reva, Trilla, and Masana around a table doing a brief. Seventh and Iskat glare at each other as Lyn regards the table
The worst-laid plans
(to be clear even if they are fucking I think they get something out of the relationship that isnβt that, and have posted about it at length, but thatβs part of how I interpret what the two have going on)
usually with ships Iβm fine if theyβre not canon but I feel like theyβre either fucking or if theyβre not fucking they need to get SOMETHING important out of each other regardlessβpoint is, you donβt consistently spend time together for nearly 20 years without a reason
tbh I think Seventh or Fifth should get the next red blade (or story that has a strong inquisitor focus/inquisitor protagonist) but any good story featuring either should also include the other as a strong supporting character and I will die on this hill
Sheβs not as talented as Iskat or calculating as Trilla or insightful as Masana, but sheβs smart, ruthless, and grows *into* being an inquisitor and I really think she should be next up to get a proper story about her
Thinking about Seventh getting underestimated by the other inquisitors because sheβs so jagged, but eventually the fact that sheβs not going to buckle further under the weight of being an inquisitor shines throughβsheβs a *survivor* and wants to thrive

Here is my breakdown for the Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord teaser trailer!

Two bonuses:
1. She tends to get to the heart of a personality, resulting in character development or at least defining who they are
2. More Ninth Sister
Iβm ngl this is a total baseless fantasy of mine but the best way we could crack into the new inquisitorsβ personalities is if we threw the Ninth Sister at them
