Here for the fun. Dramatic, tall, resting bitch face. She/her. Childless cat lady. Team bear. Don't get pissed if I don't follow you back, just be more entertaining.

Hi! I'll be waving at you from booth 509!

β€œJohn! So good to see you! (Gestures to unknown person) do you know John?”

You assume John knows the drill. John then introduces themselves to the person and you eavesdrop.

It really helps to pull John aside ahead of time so they are aware.

As of right now, the cheapest is $3.70.

Please take comfort in the time I was housesitting for my dad and the water was turned off for a toilet thing…I used the back garden and prayed to a God I don’t believe in that no one saw anything

My sister had this system in her en-suite bathroom at one point and it was…interesting? Awful? Awful, yes.

When I realized that most mid/large chains all get their supplies from Sysco or similar…

I really love Shrinking and I have loved Jason Segel for a long long time; but I realized tonight I like everything about the show except Jason Segel’s character. I’m not sure if it’s the writing or acting, but I love everything else about this show except him. It just…doesn’t hit. Sorry, Jason. πŸ˜•

Mo Ryan is a professional writer and she has better words than I do to eviscerate the AI slop purveyors; and I am 100% in her corner. See how easy that is? I didn’t steal her words and pretend they were mine. DO BETTER.

Making 2 lanes of traffic with the clear right of way going 35-40mph stop for you should not be considered normal. Use the center turn lane! If my human driver stopped in the middle of the road like this, I'd be screaming too.

AFAIK there is a way to do this properly: you wait until the traffic from the L is clear, you accelerate into the median/turning area (there appear to be turn lanes in the middle of the street) and wait for traffic from the R to clear, then you complete your turn L.

His argument is β€œI was just following orders.” We all know how well that plays out, historically

Why? She’s exhibiting proper form. Are you afraid her bones will get *too*strong? This is suspiciously akin to β€œwomen shouldn’t ski jump because their uteruses will fall out”

Do you ever write a secret note on an interior page, like β€œthanks for reading all the way to page 236, you rock!” Because I think I’d be tempted to do that too.

God, Peacock subtitles and autoplay settings are just trash. Nothing is consistent. Half the time on my laptop I have to close the tab and restart to get it to stop autoplaying; and now on my TV it refuses to show me subtitles, when it had no problem with them yesterday. Get it together!

A tuxedo cat lies on his back on a mottled green/blue/brown rug, nethers to the wind, vaguely pink belly visible only through the white just around the belly button area, if a cat had one. He looks at the camera as if to say, "You asked for it". He is supremely spoiled and yet the love of my life.

Meet my tux cat, Chidi. He's got personality.

I know that actors can get pigeonholed into characters that they may not be like in real life. I thought Tim Robbins was a total idiot for several years based solely off of Bull Durham. For years, I've thought Timmy C was a bit of a prick. And this isn't helping my opinion of him one bit.

Tucson has historically lower gas prices than the rest of the state; the cheapest I’m seeing right now is an outlier Chevron station at $3. The rest of the city hovers around $3.50.

You know how loud a garbage truck can be? Apparently one broke down in front of my house in my cul-de-sac and two guys have been yelling about it while the truck’s been making its noise for the last 45 min. On my day off. Where I planned to sleep in as long as possible. 😭😭😭

Also, not for nothing, but β€œEmergency Dungarees” absolutely slaps as a band name.

Sunrise over Drayton Harbor Bay, with silhouetted trees and outdoor decks in the foreground. The sky is a riot of pink, orange, yellow, blue, and light violet, reflected in the glassy water below. It's insane how pretty this is, no filter.

Yeah, On the Air came out after Twin Peaks and only lasted 8-10 eps I think; and I believe it was cancelled here in the States before it finished airing the last couple of episodes in other countries. I remember almost nothing of it except it was a perfect Lynch show, weird beyond belief.

I had to check - I actually only have a blu-ray player left, but I really wish I had a working VCR for my archival tapes from TV shows - eps of MST3K, Kids in the Hall, all of David Lynch’s On the Air from its original airing! Maybe it’s time to look into a good used electronics shopβ€¦πŸ§
