Actually it's down to a month or two. We've pretty well tamed the waitlist.
I dunno, Dipshit Station and Tiny Hands International Airport might have a ring to them.
Get in loser, we're going furring
I wish to know more of these drawn arts. Is there a complete gallery anyplace that isn't a social media platform?
Sharing a room with Pawstar and Heartleaf was absolutely fantastic.
Best-selling single day (49 cores) and best-selling convention (81 cores) both in the same trip.
There are now approximately 1,596 of Jay's Boingy Tails out in the wild.
I didn't see this message until today. Did it all work out?
Getting back into convention vending Jan 1-4 at Anthro Northwest in Seattle.
We're going big and sharing a whole vendors room with Heartleaf Games and @pawstarofficial.bsky.social
I've even recruited a talented Seattle-local sleeve-maker to join us.
Check out Room 305: The Corner Pocket
It's working!
It was dubbed a "waldo" back in the Heinlein days, and IMO one of the coolest applications is surgery.
A single surgeon could do an operation at a microscopic scale in Seattle, another in Paris, and then one in Tokyo, all in the same day.

Aleutia is in the midst of selling their collection of furry artwork originals. The pieces are by a variety of artists, but some are her own work as well.
I'm a fan of having artwork that didn't come out of a printer, so I may have already got a few for myself. ;)

best tail I have made I feel
Also well worth a look (But does contain NSFW nudity) is the self-hosted gallery at www.fur.com/~ollie/5800/...
The picture I bought:
I don't ad for friends often, today be an exception!
An OG traditional artist from my hometown is in need of work. His specialty is colored pencil. Those who comm can watch their pic be drawn in his stream.
I bought a portrait of my and my SO's sonas from him as an anniversary gift last year.

Just having a bit of a laugh because of the way a wikipedia diagram was "stacked". :)
The inner core and belt mounting plate of a Jayβs Boingy Tail. Without the fur cover, itβs a somewhat industrial-looking silicone and aluminium thing, with six bolts holding it together and βJayβs Boingy Tailsβ moulded in raised letters along the side.
BOINGGGG!
The Boingy Tails Video Contest is now open to submissions. From now until Nov 7, one video per person may be entered for consideration in each of 3 categories:
-Most Fun
-Most Informative
-Best Creation
The rules and details (and submission form link) are at docs.google.com/document/d/1...
Why would it be? As a business owner, I gotta periodically search my trademarks and see what people are saying about my product or what cool videos are getting posted. Not every day, but every couple of weeks.
(Sorry for the necro post, but I didn't see your comment previously)
Posting the receipts of the charitable donations raised by the quick-sale of 10 B-grade boingy tail cores.
$7000 for Doctors Without Borders, the International Conservation Fund of Canada, Qmunity, and the Canada-Ukraine Foundation.
All good. The implication of the post was that the price was unreasonable for what the product is. "Piece of silicone" and all that.
The "piece of silicone" is actually $125. The mounting system is another $125. A sleeve costs $60. And shipping runs another $25. $335.
The materials cost for this is about $80, and there is about 4 hours of work per tail, and then I have all the taxes and shop rent.
335 has been sustainable.

Yeah, the one you have convinced me that Motley was a good pick for badger head. I really tried to zero in on badger features for this one. :)
A discussion thread about Motley badgers, you say?
Just ran another charity event, selling 10 cosmetic-defect cores, and raised $7000. The breakdown chosen by the donors ends up at:
$2,100 to Q-munity
$1,750 to Doctors Without Borders
$1,750 to the International Conservation Fund
$1,400 to the Canada-Ukraine Foundation.
"...people will just volunteer without explicit economic incentives to create..."
This is LITERALLY what the internet used to be. The whole fucking thing. Every piece of it. Stem to stern. That sentence right there. We were just on here, doing stuff, just to share with each other.
