Right here right now…
Right here right now…
I deeply resent having to live in the absolutely most stupid of timelines
A screenshot of a text exchange in response to an article from www.newscientist.com about how “AIs can’t stop recommending nuclear strikes in war game simulations”. There is amusement and regret that the AIs haven’t learned the key lesson from the movie War Games.
Amen.
Right here with you.
At least there are no peas in the adaptation.
There are plenty of Grimes songs I like. One of them was in my Spotify wrapped last year. You are not alone in the struggle!
That’s me, but substitute sleep for work.
Screenshot of Spotify app with lyrics for Morrissey’s “Every Day Is Like Sunday”. The lyrics at the time of the screenshot say “in the seaside town that they forgot to bomb, Come, Come, Come - nuclear bomb. Every day is like Sunday” Very uplifting indeed!
Spotify DJ (which I generally like/use often) playing Morrissey as the 1st track in a “Brit pop hits to lift your spirits” option. Fucking classic.
Please stay! Or at least come visit more often.
This is how I found out LIV is not getting this particular reinforcement in the xfer window. Outcome is not surprising… but it is amusing that I learned to check the LIV feed via the Fintwit feed.
I bet it’s gonna hurt if he has to keep smiling in interviews after he’s not appointed. Slowly dying a little more inside each time while outwardly smirking.
Wish I didn’t think they are counting on that.
Tips on how to be accountable for porn use?
And data extraction. Also successful.
This was such a cringe listen. I would listen to Nilay interview almost anyone… but this one really tested that premise.
A white square plate holds two small chocolate covered toffee squares and a larger butterscotch blondies. The white plate sits on a red surface.
Cookies for Santa. Still debating milk vs. spiked eggnog.
An 8x8 glass pan of butterscotch blondies cooling on a wire rack. The wire rack is resting on a red silicone mat.
Butterscotch blondies with Heath bits. Santa will be rolling out of this house.
Baking cookies. First foray this year into the Christmas music of my youth. This is a good one. 🎄

My brother says the exact same thing… except more graphically 😬 The dude will do literally any other home renovation project (our dad was a contractor) but not that.
This medley has always been my favorite. A little bit of everything.

Spotify Wrapped for 2025. Top Songs are slow motion by flor, Cross You Out by Charli xcx and Sky Ferreira, Bad Friend by Rina Sawayama, Weak In Your Light by Nation of Language, and Delete Forever by Grimes. Don’t hate me for the Grimes bit - the Girl has catchy tunes!
Spotify Wrapped 2025 Top Artists are flor, Charli xcx, Depeche Mode, Grimes, and Great Good Fine OK. I am a little surprised about Depeche Mode making the top 5 tbh!
No I will not post the one about how I play songs obsessively on a loop and rank as a top fan. Stop asking. 🤭
At this point maybe need a ritual head shaving as bonding exercise. Maybe reverse Samson will save a season or CL campaign.

Camellias blooming today!
My assumption is that these factors are understood in his peer group and that “electrons” has become the shorthand used to describe it. It still sounds wacky to other audiences.
If incremental demand for power from these huge data centers can’t be met by existing resources then growth is slowed by the need to construct new generating resources and/or to expand the grid. Backlogs for new equipment stretch out for years and rehabbing retired nuclear units is not speedy.
It may be nuance but I interpreted it differently. Hyperscalers can construct data centers rapidly and in increasingly larger footprints. But access to the grid (electrons) can be a constraint on actual growth.
Within utility industry the gas traders refer to “molecules” on the regular. This seems a flavor of that - using lingo that signals one thing to a group of industry peers and another to… well… everyone else.
They know but don’t care. They also trust that enough people who hear about it ALSO will not know so it will seem like assistance. Cynical.
The constant smile. I could not take him seriously even if he was worthy of it.
