I’ve been using Proton for many years now - and yes! The services are comparable, the ability to make alt addresses is clutch for someone who makes so many podcasts, and the algorithm has VERY little idea what to do with me… it’s great!!

actually okay one more weird thing but I did this one to myself: I remapped the caps lock button to a left-handed enter key, and it’s actually so much more useful that now I reach for it on other keyboards and get really disappointed
I use a split keyboard in Dvorak layout with the F buttons all scrambled and other various macros & key remappings, and also a trackball mouse - my desktop setup is almost impossible for most people to use besides myself. I guess weird typo reactions are a small price to pay.
so because I’m a user of the Dvorak keyboard layout from way back (at least 2012) I have noticed this weird thing where, because different letters are adjacent, my common typos get more confused reactions than QWERTY folks’ typos
