QueryTracker can be so unhelpful sometimes... I search for agents with genres open to fantasy/horror, and then it shows me an agent that specifically doesn't want fantasy/horror while not showing me the agents that do (even if they are in the same company)...

My OC has been splintered off into several different canon characters, but I could never use her because she is just...too self-indulgent. She's been inspired by so many different fandoms that I sometimes get embarrassed that she even exists. But I love her so much. No, she doesn't have a name.

I think as writers, and just every creative in general, it's important to have just the one OC that you never canonically add to any of your stories, but they exist within every world in your mind palace.

A snowy parking lot at night. An abstract, fleshy, meaty thing is draped over a rusty, bloody shopping cart. The shopping cart melts into the creature through long ribbons of flesh to the point where the cart might actually be an extension of the creature. Its head is an oval on a long neck, like a sperm.
