The reason the middle-class media has not reported Hannah Spencer being attacked by right-wing transphobes is that it needs to preserve the nice, coffeee-round-the-kitchen-table, middle-class view of transphobia, not the thuggish fascist reality.
Photo of a vhs for an episode of the Animorphs tv show that features a boy transforming into a dog. Titles and copy read GODβS PUNISHMENT NOW YOU EAT DOG SHIT the inner thoughts of the child float around his transformation, they read: Whatβs happening? Sure could go for some dog shit I eat dog shit now? What did I do? Wish I was eating dog shit right now A promotional graphic proclaims A boy turns into a dog and eats dog shit for lying Part 1 the sins of children series

sam altman on twitter: i expect ai to be capable of superhuman persuasion well before it is superhuman at general intelligence, which may lead to some very strange outcomes
I think about this one a lot.
a digital collage with a pink, purple, green, yellow, and teal gradient overlaid on all the images. the images include a horse carrying a bucket, a cluster of mushrooms, a grub, a birds talon, a cicada, five spiders, two flower buds, a hand with an eye over the back of it, and a microscope slide of atoms. there is white text that reads "get weirder or die miserable." the background is black and there is a slightly grainy texture

one thing that drives me insane about modern platforms is how many default to "3 months" or "1 year" instead of showing the actual date of a post, very frustrating

I will be using AI generated images of myself on dating apps to "show potential" of what I could look like with sufficient investment from suitors

The tech billionaire, who aims to launch an initial public offering for the newly combined company this year, argues that vast fleets of satellites powered by solar energy and cooled by the vacuum of space will become the cheapest way to generate AI computing power. Musk believes this will happen within the next three years.
This would have been a good point for someone to have asked, is that really how things work? Or is vacuum in fact an excellent insulator? www.ft.com/content/a5cf...
Luigi Mangione surrounded by flames grinning with the text Repent or Perish
Westboro Baptist Church tried to make an Anti-Luigi Mangione poster but it just looks like Luigi is threatening billionaires and goes unironically hard af

I don't think that level of wealth is compatible with what we consider to be human, amassing that much money is just pathological. The question is do the sociopaths naturally rise to the top or do their minds rot on the way up the ladder?
Hah. I was reading a breathless article about how AI Agents were using a social media site created just for them yesterday and you probably felt the planet shift briefly out of rotation from the amount of deep sighs I made.
Well, surprise surprise it's still Mechanical Turk time.
Dude who spent thousands of pounds tracking down those early Boards of Canada cassettes and transferring them in the highest quality possible has uploaded them to his youtube btw: www.youtube.com/@samamdj
I'd be willing to bet on the norwegian monarchy being the first to go with all the shit going on right now
Lol yeah the latest emails shows she definitely knew
But his mum the crown princess has been palling around with Epstein so there's that commonality as well
He's awful but tbf he's not a prince, no titles etc (she had him before she met the crown prince) but his half siblings are in line for the throne
It's a bit janky, I keep holding on to some unfounded hope they'll revamp their apps at some point. I'll give them this though, it's very easy to download their FLAC files. And the music collection is good
Take me down to the Parallax city where the far moves slow and the near moves quickly
itβs not necessarily that all these people in the epstein files participated in the raping of girls itβs that none of them cared and if he hadnβt been arrested and died theyβd still be out there trying to be his friend
And the reason we're able to use it and recognise its flaws is we've worked in this field for many years without LLM's. Without this experience we would've made a fucking mess by relying on it
I still want the AI bubble to pop, we'd survive without it but it's been nice for churning out repetitive things a little bit faster, fancy auto complete is still the best way to describe it
At work we use it constantly because we're delivering a looot of work with a small team, but we also don't use it for things we can't personally verify the output of. I don't use it for anything outside of tech and I wouldn't want to, it's wrong all the time so you can't get too comfortable using it
This is a lie and you should be in prison for lying to a young person (me)
