If I am using funds to pay undergrad students, I structure the payments as participant support (aka stipends not hourly) and there is no overhead on it! As long as they receive additional professional development or other benefits beyond contractual, menial work it is allowed.

We may have missed #Nudivember but our participatory science programs are back! Come tidepool with us in SoCal and learn how our coastal spaces are vital for urban climate health πŸŒŠπŸšπŸ¦€πŸ™πŸͺΌ

My students definitely ask to feature my dog on our (research lab) TikTok, but I tell them we can’t afford his contracting fee πŸ˜†

Finally made it over here, running my lab’s TikTok as my only academic social media isn’t the intellectually stimulating endeavor I imagined (although I β™₯️ #slugtok). Looking forward to reconnecting with all my friends from that other app! #AcademicSky
