There have been many intense times of cruelty and wickedness in our shared world history so it is difficult to know when the end will be.
It is not for us to know.
The real question is what will God find us doing when he returns? Good or evil deeds?
The book of Revelation is barely understood by most people and I do not quote it without paying careful attention to context.
