Tbh this is why the most brutal thing online is silence. The show where everyone acknowledged the season premiere and nobody mentions the finale. Where you’re not getting praise or people think it’s not for them or too obscure so they don’t risk being dicks.
The sweet spot for a brutal takedown is when an album/book/whatever is 1) in your area / made for you 2) getting praise and 3) well-known. You get all 3, go in guns blazing no worries. You got 2, you’re on thin ice. Just one and you’re being a dick.
