You missed my point, that there are many younger bands that also deserve the prize, and yet the Grammys went to two bands that began in the early '60s. The Beatles are my favorite band of all time, and the Stones come close. But if that is all that rock has to offer in 2025, it's over.

The Beatles and the Rolling Stones both won Grammys tonight. Is that the Recording Academy's not-so-subtle way of declaring that rock is truly dead?
