I used to live nearby Detroit and spent a lot of time there growing up, so I was trying to search to find information about the violent event that happened there today. Kinda took me out of it seeing this randomly.
Image is a screenshot of typing "Detr" as in Detroit into google. The Google search box has a drop down that displays various search auto-complete suggestions. Some of the suggestions make sense, like searching for the Detroit Lions or Detroit Tigers, even the video game Detroit: Become Human is listed- but the top suggestion is a book called "Detransition, Baby".
Google is altering search suggestions at US govt's request. I had multiple people check and only people within US got this top search suggestion. Everyone outside US, even trans allys and trans people themselves, did not get it suggested at all.

So this week I learned that extended use of Ibuprofen, even under the stated daily limit, will put you into a hypertensive crisis if you are predisposed to that condition.
Makes me wonder why the ER recommended it to me when the high blood pressure alarm went off the whole time I was there...

Have already been to the ER in the past month and was discharged after a few hours with them completely ignoring the high blood pressure alarm that was continually going off every time the machine checked me.
They knew I had no insurance. So no incentive to keep me.
Went to try to donate plasma to get money to afford rent and found out I was in a hypertensive crisis. Staff seemed unsure whether to let me walk out or call an ambulance for me on the spot. 220/120 walking around feeling fine. Guy said it was top five he's seen in his life.
