This, by @marcacaputo.bsky.social on Marco Rubio and the Tallahassee house he & his good friend David Rivera co-owned for ten years, is a good read.

At times in defense counsel’s discussions with the government, in Rivera’s statements
regarding the PDV USA litigation, and in the defense’s arguments for dismissal to DOJ,
defendants or their counsel have suggested that the unregistered political activities described in the
indictment did not give rise to criminal liability because such activities were approved by senior
U.S. government officials. To date, however, the defense has yet to disclose any discovery or
provide information tending to establish any component of the defenses of public authority or
entrapment by estoppel. See United States v. Alvarado, 808 F.3d 474, 484–86 (11th Cir. 2015)
(describing these defenses and their required elements).

Among the things DOJ is trying to prevent former Marco Rubio roomie David Rivera from raising in his FARA trial is that top Trump 1 officials knew and approved of his efforts to secretly broker closer ties with Venezuela's Delcy Rodriguez.

The PEDO just lifted oil sanctions on Russia. Anyone can now buy their oil with impunity & at RECORD high prices, flooding the Russian banks with cash to continue war for many many more years.
Trump has just handed a potential death sentence to Ukraine, while begging for their help! #cdnpoli

This must be why the Republican controlled VA is cutting veterans benefits. They’re afraid that all those military members who were killed are walking around without legs and STILL getting VA benefits. #RepublicansAreImbeciles

Live Nation Settlement Spurs Chaos in Court - The American Prospect The deal contains a fairly useless set of conditions. More than two dozen states vow to continue fighting.

OK, here's our story on the wild situation in Manhattan today where the Justice Department settled a monopolization case against Live Nation without telling its own lawyers.
We got one week of testimony that was going really badly for the company. But corruption won out.

I was against JCPOA, but once it was in effect, it was the only game in town, and we should have stuck with it. Trump cancelling it was a gift to Iran and pissed off our allies for no tangible gain.

The American Embassy is being evacuated in Riyadh because of sustained attacks by Iran against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It is my understanding the Kingdom refuses to use their capable military as a part of an effort to end the barbaric and terrorist Iranian regime who has terrorized the region and killed
7 Americans.
Question - why should America do a defense agreement with a country like the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that is unwilling to join a fight of mutual interest?
Americans are dying and the U.S. is spending billions to dislodge the terrorist Iranian regime that threatens the region.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia seems to be issuing statements and doing things in the background that are marginally helpful, but unwilling to participate in military operations to end the reign of terror coming out of Iran. Hopefully Gulf Cooperation Council countries will get more involved as this fight is in their backyard. If you are not willing to use your military now, when are you willing to use it?
Hopefully this changes soon. If not, consequences will follow.

1. Is Lindsey Graham the U.S. Secretary of State now?

Is he coordinating these threats against a U.S. ally with the White House?

Now he is demanding that a top U.S. ally enter a regime-change war?

And then threatening, β€œHopefully this changes soon… if not, consequences will follow.”

There simply is no audience for the shit that she and her wife vomit forth every day, certainly no audience that advertisers want.

Earlier on Sunday, the Jerusalem Post reported that the UAE had struck an Iranian desalination plant in its first attack on the country, citing an unidentified Israeli source. The paper later cited a UAE official denying the report.

Ali Al Nuaimi, chairman of the UAE legislature’s Defense, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee, posted on X in Farsi that the UAE β€œcategorically denies” reports about its targeting of desalination facilities in Iran, β€œand emphasizes that it has no intention of entering into any conflict or escalating tensions.”

Last week, the Jerusalem Post reported that Qatar struck Iran, which was a lie. Today, Jerusalem Post said UAE struck the desalination plant in Iran, which is a lie. Israel is trying to pull the rest of the gulf into the war.
