Almost totally done with my ribs and sternum tattoo. I only need a bit of a touch up. The sternum did smart a bit but overall, this entire are was the least painfull of all my tattoos. Ribs do not hurt, would recommend.

I volunteered with books through bars tonight and one of the letters I opened had originally been mailed on May 20th 2025 according to the post mark. I feel like this letter was likely stuck in the prison mail the entire time. It was so gratifying to fulfill their request.
Today I saw an Anna's hummingbird feeding from a willow tree and it was probably the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. We believe they feed from willows because there is pollen and insects inside along with water. Sort of like a power drink/slurpee for them.
All war is stupid. No war with Iran, Gaza, Ukraine or anywhere! US out of the Philippines!
These birds are all hunched over looking cold like how people from California look when they first come to Oregon.
My first attempt at photographing birds through a telescope today during the Comumbia Slough Festival at Mason Flats. An absolutely beautiful cormorant. The Slough hosts a diversity of wildlife and must be preserved. Stay tuned fot the next city council meeting to protect!

This is a red shouldered hawk that I photographed with my cell phone through a telescope. My first time trying to photograph in this manner. I am at the kick off of the Columbia River Slough Festival. These birds are from Cali but they live the Slough and have been coming up here. Portland Oregon.
Federal agents in Portland Oregon threw rocks at ICE protesters from the roof in June 2025 but PPD arrest protesters instead of the feds.
