It's been a year since I had oral surgery to remove my teeth, sparking a multi month journey of mystery illness, catastrophic weight loss, nausea, and fatigue.
Just kinda feeling a lot.

Ha!! That did make me smile.
Finally getting around to watching Ups and Downs for Starfleet Academy episode 4. This was one of my favorite episodes of any Trek. @seanferrick.bsky.social
I was having a really bad time of things. I've been unemployed for 3 years now and just got denied for another job. Getting that Cameo lifted my spirits.
Nothing like waking up to find out my husband booked me a Cameo from @seanferrick.bsky.social. Things are still rough but I feel a little better.
Dying to see it. This was top tier Trek as far as I'm concerned.
I just now saw this. I'm so so sorry.
I really REALLY enjoyed those two episodes. Just pure FUN. The kind of aspirational Trek I love.
Have you read his Knight of the Word books? I love them. Especially the second one because it's set in Seattle and I can literally walk to all the places.
Some of the Shanara books are so damn good. I'm partial to Elfstones myself.
My latest #embroidery piece. This style was popular in Tudor England.
Tim got me a belated Christmas gift. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
I made pancakes and Tim made eggs. We are snacking and watching the extended editions of LOTR. Merry Christmas y'all!
Went on a Krampus themed pub crawl last night. Made my own hat. Took selfies with the Mari Lwyd. Enjoyed Krampus liqueur. Danced my ass off. 6 drinks across 4 bars. One bar had SWINGS instead of barstools.
Itβs incredible to me how publishing professionals will use AI for the work that they are paid a salary to do. At the same time, they require writersβ work to be completely original, unpaid until they decide otherwise, for pennies.
Just breathtaking.
@clairewillett.bsky.social I'm not on Bluesky much these days so I didn't see if you posted about it: have you seen Wake Up Dead Man yet?
I wore my Santa robe to church for Lessons and Carols. I made it out of tree skirts and a tablecloth.
For instance, if you post a pic of the wolf battering ram from Return of the King into any Tolkien thread, everyone will chant "GROND! GROND! GROND!" back at you. Silly but fun.
It feels like old Twitter, back when things were fun.
A western Quail walks along a sidewalk. He spots two head feather plumes, called topnots. He is looking very fancy
you have been visited by the Quail of the Double Top Knot. Like for good luck. Ignore to go fuck yourself.
Have you tried Threads? It's still new but I've been having a lot of fun there.
I really want one of those "my husband is mysteriously missing" gowns. Ironically, because my husband would love it.
Pics of the bonbons.
77 gigantic Oreo bonbons for Tim's office. Several people told him they were only attending tomorrow's meeting if I sent them.
I don't care about the meeting but I love my fans!
Man, I know that feeling.
I appreciate the effort, even if the gif didn't work.
How are you?
Love is having a husband who gets out of bed at 11:30 to make you eggs because you're hungry and your blood sugar is spiking. π
Still almost exclusively on Threads these days, where it's actually fun, but here is my cat sleeping on her beloved stairs.
Tim wears Redwings and they last him for years. It's probably just the shoes, everything is made so shoddily now.
If you have a chance to see del Toro's Frankenstein on this screen this week before it goes to Netflix, please do it. The small screen just cannot do it justice.
