Local candidate Melissa Young. Was a day late and a dollar short as they sa, as it had to arrive Tuesday - wasn’t there “Election” Monday night when I checked the mail for my car sticker. 😂

6 months ago the Liberal
party in Canada was on the brink of extinction. Anticipated they couldn’t even ask a question in Parliament (like the NDP today sadly). They are now back in charge - why - because they weren’t abusive and care for people. That’s Canada. Love it.

The next four years are probably the most important 4 years in my 58 on earth. Is Carney perfect - I’d doubt that. But he had his security clearance in a couple of weeks. What is the issue?

Why is the CBC continually accepting Conservative rhetoric that Anaida Pollievre is from Montreal?? She is from Venezuela - arrived in Canada at 8 years old as a refugee. Is this why PP won’t try for his security clearance? Someone help me here.

Watching Pollievre right now … they have nothing. Slandering Carney, pipelines would exist but for Quebec (who are actually blocking, not the Liberals). I truly have not seen such desperation before in Canadian politics. He invests in Carney’s former company. He is Trump with two languages.

I as well grew up in a “PC”household in Newfoundland. Didn’t have a father as MHA but didn’t hesitate to vote for them when they actually were “Progressive”. Sad how things have changed Federally.

It’s tough being who we are as humans. I spent 3 years in the US and for the most part the people are great … but there’s no desire to help your neighbour. You are “on your own mentality”. That’s a for sure and certain.

As petty and hurtful as this sounds … it’s time to cut them off from things like this, including fire resources. I lived less than a km from St. John’s NL airport on 9-11. I saw bellies of planes arrive every 30 seconds. The fact the US could go to this situation is unconscionable

100% agree. Give him players to play with and he’s fantastic. Makes others way more successful as well. He can score lots, but his ice management and set up skills are phenomenal. And he’s just as good/accountable defensively. Frigging amazing at 37.
