This is what i looked like yesterday.
A large, plump, brown toad covered in lots of spiny bumps! Even though they are rather large, they are very compact looking compared to many other toads! They have very large parotoid glands and visible eardrums!
Our friend Sclerophrys Regularis is a widespread toad with many common names, but our favorite is the African Bouncing Toad! When threatened, they often bounce around to scare or confuse predators! (photo by abotto)
