Hopefully Amorim felt the love tonight. I have such faith in him to turn us around and I want INEOS to see that we are going to be patient for the long haul.

Always thought Mainoo would flourish more advanced. Collyer and Ugarte more likely to win a midfield battle.

I think £60m+ in the way PSR works may be too good to refuse for Garnacho.

Yes, I believed Garnacho would be here for the long haul. But sometimes you have to sacrifice something to move a team forward. And we need reinforcements in a lot of areas. We need specialists in certain positions.

At the minute, opposing right wingers know they don't really need to bother to track back and their right backs can maraud forward with less risk.

And in terms of the left wing bsck situation: its dire. So prredictable. Think we need to use a Wilder-esque overlapping CB with Martinez and let the wing back sit. Because it is so ineffective having Mazraoui or Dalot there

You see every time Zirkzee gets the ball, everyone seems to make an intelligent run. You see less of that when Hojlund has it, as they sadly do not anticipate the ball getting to them.

Our system is, at least at the moment, very reliant on the striker making the ball stick. Hojlund HAS to be better at that or he won't make it here.

Yes, we can service him better. But I'm not convinced he helps us get up the pitch to get him in the right positions. It goes both ways.

Fantastic again. Shown real strength to come through the tough barrier of boos and put in back to back excellent performances.

Right now our best front three is Bruno, Amad and Zirkzee. Should pick itself.

Zirkzee deserves a start if I'm honest. Confidence is everything and we should give him an opportunuty to build. I thought he was fantastic vs Arsenal. He was doing everything Hojlund should have been.

Looking forward to see Yoro again. Presume Amad will be right wing back rather than Garnacho.

I think we look more balanced with one more attacking wing back and one more defensive one.

Even if Ipswich go down, they will have a Championship Super Team to get them straight back up. Philogene, Clarke and Szmodics(presuming Hutchinson and Delap would go) is some strikeforce for the Championship.

I get what you mean. Think he would link the midfield to the defence well and can take a blinking corner 🤣🤣

Signing him would mean we have 3 great options in centre midfield. And we could play Mainoo in one of the more advanced positions, which would suit his skillset I reckon.

Doubt we'd win the race but some kind of swap with Zirkzee and Douglas Luiz could be explored. Evej if they are both loans with obligations to buy.

I noticed today how willing the CBs were to either add a body to the midfield or provide an additional option to the wingback to pass back to.

The week of training seems to have worked wonders with how Amorim wants the 3-4-3 to6 operate.

Also thought Amad and Bruno helped out the wingbacks more.

For what it's worth, I think it was a penalty. But the issue I have is there is no consistency.

Thought Bruno was excellent but what was his obsession with the outside of the foot today 🤣🤣🤣
