Gotcha! I was a bit surprised you were looking to leave Notion
I use Obsidian and pay for sync. I like that it is just markdown so never any lock in.
I spent some time working in Elm this weekend. I am really enjoying functional languages the more I work with them.

Stop trying to make Gemini happen. It's not going to happen
Am I reading this right that this makes it so teachers can’t call a child by their preferred pronouns?
Is the ebook only available from Amazon? Is there a drm free version?
Is there an e-book version?
""Most big, deeply satisfying accomplishments in life take at least five years to achieve. This can include building a business, cultivating a loving relationship, writing a book, getting in the best shape of your life, raising a family, and more. Five years is a long time. It is much slower than most of us would like. If you accept the reality of slow progress, you have every reason to take action today. If you resist the reality of slow progress, five years from now you'll simply be five years older and still looking for a shortcut."" (James Clear, 3-2-1 Email Newsletter)
This year I’m trying to focus more on consistency, with a mantra of “festina lente”. Success happens over Yuma long term, but only if you work at it consistently.
Festina Lente = Make Haste Slowly
If it could intelligently add it only if I’m on a blank line that might be nice. but I agree, definitely gets in the way more than it helps
Just finished listening to the first Backend Banter episode of the year with @wagslane.bsky.social and @josevalim.bsky.social

""You can lose yourself one small compromise at a time. You can transform yourself one small win at a time."" (James Clear, 3-2-1: On Loving Your Fate, How to Handle Pressure, and the Value of Being Proactive Yet Positive)
The secret is there is no secret.
No magic tea. No superpower pill. If any of this stuff worked there wouldn't be a billion dollar industry of hacks.
Move your body. Eat whole foods. Sleep. Read. Surround yourself with good people. Practice your values. Show up consistently.

Screenshot of chrome devtool html inspector showcasing that Phoenix shows the calling component file and line number to aid in debugging.
Seeing the calling component file in the browser devtool inspector is so f-ing nice. Makes debugging/development so much more enjoyable.

I almost forgot! This book was really good. www.backfitpro.com/books/back-m...
If you search "Stuart McGill Big 3 back exercises", those will help a ton. Fairly simple/straightforward exercises.
