The Sanchez administration appears to have its shit together on most subjects: domestic & international. Nice to know that somewhere competent, ethical govt exists.
@sixesalltheway
Progressive & disticntly left-leaning in a broad sense: conservation & sustainability, democracy & electoral reform, mutualism, intersectionality, market socialism, economic & social equity and critical thinking.
The Sanchez administration appears to have its shit together on most subjects: domestic & international. Nice to know that somewhere competent, ethical govt exists.
First he said Iran was a week away from having a nuclear weapon. They weren't. This one was even too much for turbo dink Ted Cruz. Next it was "we've been at war with Iran for 47 years." We weren't. Then it was "we're liberating the people from a tyrannical government." We're not. Then it was "we're going to take out their leader and replace him with a pro-US guy." We didn't.

Yβall.
Hannah Spencer being harrassed by fascist YouTube streamers in Manchester, every week they are at it
Not only are the Greens now polling in second just 2 points behind Reform, but a glance at those figures shows the continued downward trend for Reform, Conservatives & Labour.
Looks like squeaky bum time for a lot - but definitely not all, parties & their leaders.
Happy Tuesday all.
The Labour Party's attacks on the Green Party are disgusting, deceitful, right wing, gutter trash. They're more like a Daily Mail headline than actual politics.
The media ought to be questioning Starmer's judgement: he is PM after all & would expect this to happen to everyone holding that position.
Agreed about Farage - he has displayed nothing but the worst judgement while being given an almost free-ride by mainstream media.
Turns out lowering bills, protecting the NHS and rebuilding our public services is really popular.
This is just the beginning - people are seeing through the attacks and demanding something better.
And we're making hope normal again - together.

There's never going to be a perfect answer - but their is already one good one that has been issued by Sanchez of Spain.
As an aside, Starmer could help himself, party & nation by not dishing out huge contracts to insidious US tech giants such as Palantir.
slicin' up eyeballs @eyeballslicer A liberal is someone who opposes every war except the current war and supports alld civil rights movements except the one that's going on right now.
Given the entirely predictable state of the Sensibles contribution to the current discourse, seems like a good moment to liberate this classic from the vaults
Its true: I'd heard that they were all PBWs
Fuck Starmer & fuck his shithole govt
Farage accusing the Green Party of "cheating" is surely a case of slander?
Interesting to note that the group, Democracy Volunteers, are supported by a Conservative Party peer which hardly smacks of their claimed "independence".
The 'independent' Democracy Volunteers organisation that Farage is so eager to quote just so happen to be supported by Conservative Party peer Robert Haywood.
Starmer must feel pretty comfortable with Trump as they share such a strong shared interest in trying to save their political skins by attempting to distract their respective electorate.
May's local elections are just round the corner & the chance to kick both Starmer & Farage in to touch.
Powell is a prime example of why the Labour Party is experiencing such catastrophic failure: she's thoroughly dishonest, spineless, displays no real principles & tries to defend the indefensible.
Isabel Oakeshott & Richard Tice - "patriots"
Trump is a source of evil.
Every time a member of the Labour cabinet spouts-off they dig the party just that little bit deeper.
Roll-on the May elections.
The defections from Labour to Green will happen soon after the May locals.
Healey calls on Iran to return to negotiations
Oman, which was mediating talks between the US & Iran, said on Friday a peace deal was within reach. The next day the US/Israel attacked. These attacks didnt happen because negotiations were failing but because they were progressing
A useful record of Farageβs failure and his inability to cope with it. A cheat and a very bad loser who would happily trash democracy to get the result he wants. And then remove our rights to stop us holding him to account.
Such a corrupt, egomaniacal liar should have no hope of getting power.
Its far too late for the Labour Party to be redeemed: that which can be destroyed by the truth, should be. The local elections in May will be the first real swing of the political wrecking ball.
And Khan ought to have said that Starmer's 'extreme' smear was 'false' & 'dishonest'.
More mendacity from another spineless Labour MP.
Roll-on the May locals when your Red Tories get shown the door.
Not just them...there are others they bow to and listen to...
Not interested: Starmer (& his mob) is incapable of redemption.
McSweeney might have lost his job - but he's still around & Maurice Glasman hasn't gone anywhere. Couple that with a big chunk of the PLP being uncritical neoliberals & it all becomes fairly predictable.
London will turn Green at the next GE & the fight for the old northern Red Wall is on.
Several million Brits have been in "despair" about Labour for years.
Doesn't matter whether its Starmer, Mahmood, Streeting, Jones, Reeves etc. they all appear to be under the impression that alienating vast swathes of the electorate while chasing those that hate them is the route to victory.
Sign of the times: as someone mentioned yesterday it used to be standard that when a party lost one of its safe seats for the party leader to make a statement to the effect of 'the people of *former seat* have spoken, we are listening to them and learning what we can' rather than fuck off lefties.
