Grateful for my Dad everyday, but especially today when he came over for breakfast and help me out my TV on the wall, mounted my bike ok the wall and hung a painting for me. π

I want to reincarnate as a woman who's attracted to money and power, not sweet guys with nice smiles. That would be so much more fun than this. I already decided I don't want friends like that though. Already had two of them and had to ditch them.
Girls night, via FT. Ft German Reisling and fuckboi stories from every decade.
π Grateful for these two women I can laugh with endlessly.
lol Target announcing the end of the boycott that everyone started against is WILD. You cannot convince me to shop there now.
Grateful to now live a quick ten minute drive from here, and to see these hillsides from my new balcony.
A friend once suggested I get this cameras where you can watch your dog at home from anywhere- and I was like, all my patients would die if I did that; I would never not be on my phone watching my dog do fun things, like bark at delivery drivers. π
Grateful for lil π¦ friends this afternoon. Feels good to be outside, even in this heat, even just for a walk. Still too tired to run ππ« . Hopefully tomorrow Iβll be less tired.

Always nice to read a favorite while at work today. That- and my patientβs love of music are some of what I loved about my day.
it took just over a year to get from "I'll lower costs on day one" to "I'm raising prices and it's good, actually"
Really, really sad for all the creatives who work here and will lose their jobs and solid benefits as part-timers. Local coffee does not offer the same pay or benefits, sadly.
Itβs wild to me that SBUX employees engineered a whole boycott against their jobs, smeared them over the Palestinians cause and are now shocked to be losing the coffee shop job that gives them benefits and education. There was a better way to unionize without tearing down the company to consumers.
This is Aly. She just learned about capitalism. Certainly not a perfect system, but if that is what it takes to put chippies on the table, she understands. 13/10 (IG: alythebichon)
Can this be my next career?
Nice to get outside today, even if just for a little bit. Didnβt have the energy to run today, so this walk with a view sufficed.

I would be so depressed if I grew up feeling like my fate was sealed just because I wasnβt born rich or conventionally beautiful, but my friends say they feel comfort in the idea of fate, that it implies a bigger picture plan for their lives. To each their own. Always nice to learn new things.
As a Westerner who was raised on ideals of self-determination, I appreciate my Eastern-minded friends who discuss things like Red String Theory with me. Also horrified that all of these tales involve treating young women like disposable garbage in the beginning. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_thr...
I wish people were more direct. I just spent the last two days trying to figure out how someone feels based off of their expressions. π«
Just moved the last of our stuff out of our old place. Itβs gonna be weird to live in a place where I donβt have any memories of my little black shadow. π Grateful to that balcony for all the joy it brought the two of us.
This really nice Russian man in my apartment building named Maxim helped me carry my super heavy stuff up three flights of stairs tonight when the elevator got jammed up on another floor.
Thankful for nice people. β₯οΈ
Hereβs the thing with bikes for transportation people: we keep looking for opportunities to persuade more people of their beauty, but it is hard to get folks out of cars. Gas prices are now doing the storytelling. I suspect some of you *will* find joy in using a bike for short trips soon.
This is Oakley. He has an injury that requires physical therapy and at-home massages. Luckily, his cat sibling River has been training his whole life for this. 14/10 for both
Highest of highs and lowest of lows, especially as a woman.
It looks like the war on Iran is going about as poorly as the regimeβs previous wars against Chicago, Minnesota and Los Angeles.
I love that Charlotte came over when I arrived and plopped herself on me last night like, B!tch, pet me already!
Queen Lana and King Bruce tonight @ Paceβs.
be nice to people. I often hear stories from other nurses about how they sit in their car before their shift and have panic attacks due to the anxiety of working with bullies or rude people. How can we expect those people to advocate for patients when they feel hopeless about their own situation?
A colleague made fun of me the other day for saying hi and good morning to most of the staff I work alongside. If people are too intimidated to say hi or good morning to me, how can I expect them to overcome that intimidation to tell me when thereβs a major problem or concern?
Also, itβs okay to
