I would say my lived experience of having a disrupted identity is less 'Oh god my psyche fractured from trauma', and more 'Oh no, there is possible trauma, I must quarantine parts of myself, and only express them in safe spaces'.
Which is a VERY common queer experience, doubly so for furries.
