Men's meet & move: reducing isolation & inactivity
To break the barrier of isolation and give the opportunity of activity for local men who just need a helping hand.
This year I will be volunteering at a community project at my tennis club which aims to reduce isolation and inactivity in men. Sport England has pledged half the funds for this project, conditional on us raising the rest. If this is something you can support, please check out link ⬇️

Thyroxine does not improve skeletal muscle regeneration after injury in aged mice. By Thamires Siqueira Oliveira et al.
Image is the Graphical Abstract from doi.org/10.1530/JOE-25-0203.

💪New research by Thamires Siqueira de Oliveira et al. demonstrates that low‑dose thyroxine (T4) replacement does not improve muscle regeneration post-injury in elderly mice. Instead, T4 replacement therapy seemed to induce atrophy & tissue remodeling.
