tried colourpop's winx duochrome eyeshadow stick in the shade rising sun. it's pretty (especially in sunlight!!) but difficult if you have watery inner corners. might behave differently with a primer but i was just playing around. 🙂‍↕️

If, like me, you love dishy TV shows about scammers getting taken down, Apple Cider Vinegar on Netflix is really good. It takes on the snake oil crunchy influencer industrial complex, but treats people who fall for it w/ admirable compassion. Illness makes us desperate for magical thinking.

i'm a big fan of swedish death cleaning, where ppl essentially clean up in prep of the inevitable— in a utilitarian manner to convenience loved ones left behind. maybe she'd be receptive to this practice? or maybe the idea of downsizing to a keepsakes box, compared to keeping *everything* from fam?

i think you should throw away everything she leaves on your bed— in a little trash bin in your shared room so it's not actually tossed out, though. but i'm an only child so this may be toxic advice.

has she considered re-selling? you mentioned in other posts that she's sitting on 100k but if she were to pawn off a solid bulk, maybe that'd give her a sense of security? just brainstorming here... i'm so sorry you're going through this. i know firsthand just how suffocating this can be.

i'm talking in reference to unattainable expectations that you either agreed to or set yourself. bc you desperately wanna look like a dependable, good person as a cover for the internal despair at play. but that massive self-involvement is the root to overwhelm.

"hey mom maybe communicate w me abt changes to my safety net bc you moved to FL and i have no family left here to back me up in emergencies" is met with "i hate myself enough already. i don't need a reminder of my shortcomings. you're berating me abt the past again" like WHAT? ARE YOU SERIOUS? LMFAO
