Change = most people currently earning a living will earn significantly less or be forced out, just like the music industry, profit will be made but increasingly only by the owners of the tech how long is that sustainable before it all turns really grim.
AI is deployed against labour, it is owned by the billionaires exclusively, it is being used to build a surveillance state explicitly, it is built on stolen work entirely. Until this changes, what is the left supposed to cheer? Make a better world not a faster wealth extractor, then we can talk.
