Good luck and be patient. I've recently returned to orchestral playing (oboe/cor) after 30 odd years and despite some initial issues (stamina/reeds) its come back pretty quickly. Mind you my first public gig involved playing the Cor in the New World - which quickly sharpened my practice routine !! 🤣

We support the work, performance and recording of British/Irish composers from the last 100 years; as well as projects which further the knowledge and understanding of the life and music of Ralph and Ursula Vaughan Williams.

As it happens I was at The Red House today in Aldeburgh. They had a special Open Day which included a tour of the his home. It also included a free muffin and coffee/tea to celebrate his birthday !! Great place to visit with exceptional art on show collected by Peter Pears. Lovely guides too!
