I find it best to judge something like this on it's own merits and not compare it to shows from 20+ years ago. But everyone's brain works different.

As a ardent Trip fan, this a libelous statement and I will not stand for it.
At least enterprise gave that a reason.
But also, look at the Klingons in TMP, and then SFS to TUC
And Worf's changes along the way.
Klingon's are only second in look changes to the amount of times Starfleet changes uniforms.
My god baby momma made sloppy joes the other day served on mini pretzel buns. Elevated such a simple dish to a michelin treat.
gregory peck and jayne wyman
Spock's ancestor hugging Spock's mom!
The pic is just Lee Horsley from The Sword and the Sorcerer. Shirtless and slightly bloody. Don't know why its labeled as graphic. Oh well.
One (star)scream to rule them all.
Post your favorite Lord of the Rings character. Wrong answers only.
Aragon son of Arathorn holding AndΓΊril
(but I give leniency to Peck cause even with Spock being 28 at the time of DSC S2, vulcans gonna vulcan with their longevity)
I was curious about the math:
Mia in DSC S2: 43. In universe year 2258
Jayne in TOS S1: 56/57. In universe year 2268
So not so far off. I am with you for main point tho
At least Mia was close in real life to how old Jane Wyatt was in TOS.
Hans Swolo!
Ancient weapons and hokey religions aint no match for perfectly sculpted bis and tris.
Say no thanks. Cause even with a cool chopper, acab is acab.
The clock is evil
I admit this song immediately popped into my head the moment I saw this ship www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WwJ...
Bet it's the same person who messed with Faith of the Heart!
The cop recognized her, ain't no way she's not a bad guy (and it's gonna break Caleb's heart)
A star trek laser cannon from The Cage. Text says "this is star trek cannon"
A reminder to all, when speaking of Star Trek lore, plots and connections... that is called Star Trek Canon.
Cannon with two N's?
#TOS #TOSSatNight
Big L? So it's the Lentilprise?
Id counter that TOS did as well, but agree compared to all the others, not a single misstep (so far, but I am fully sure they are gonna stick the landing)
If you can get access, next time you watch I highly recommended the criterion version of the film with the Rob Reiner commentary. It's not him talking about the film, but reading segments of the OG book along side the film.
Mrs. Pedecaris, you are a lot of trouble.
stupid sexy flanders
TOO SOON
What's unfortunate is that it did not go with it's original idea: The interdimensional aliens were the source of all the macguffins from the previous films. But that was deemed too much to chalk all religions as alien influenced.
Klingon tri-spike symbol in red on black background.
the Klingon symbol suddenly makes more sense now.
That is not what he said/meant. You cherry picked one line about wanting to use Star Trek to reflect upon current day issues. Which is exactly what Trek (and good scifi) has always done.
Soft Cell's unsuccessful sequel song.
