Lady aurora blew up the sky last week in Churchill. I'm so glad my guests got to experience this amazing evening. #NorthernLights #aurora
I noticed a lot of people are struggling to get started, so I made a *simplified* checklist on how to get this party rolling if you've only got 30 minutes to spare:

Hah! I'll keep that in mind.
P.S. I'll have my bag of handy stuff with me at UKGE โ you'll have to come find me in hall 4 if you need to borrow anything again!
I must suppress the increasing urge to commission and publish a collection of ancient world horror scenarios.
(For now, anyway...)
If I ever go back to the idea I'd probably make it system-neutral, tbh. I do appreciate the existence of the MR, but I like making things that work with a wider variety of systems, and I also want to be able to print my stuff if I feel like it! ๐
Good weekend all, Iโm trying to compile a list of (short, like SHORT short) first person/3D art games, ideally with land art or megaliths or otherwise cool landscape stuff. Any and all suggestions very welcome.
I've also remembered that I was writing a whole CoC-flavoured resource set in ancient Rome when back at uni, built around Sol Invictus the reign of Caligula.
Having just checked the dates, I see why I may have stopped working on it โ Cthulhu Invictus was released a couple of months after I started!
(Even if it's just so that you can put a note in the foreword saying 'No spells allowed!'.)
I've talked about writing system-neutral stuff on a couple of podcasts recently, although I can't remember how gritty I get. I can look for the links to them, if you're interested?
I do gravitate towards D100 systems myself (CoC, Delta Green, etc.). Specific granular mechanics aside, though, even broad questions like 'What happens if this scenario is run in a system where PCs can do magic, versus a system without magic?' are often worth thinking about.
Thanks for the kind words, and I'm glad to be of help! I think Darkened Hill & Dale may wrestle with the challenges of system neutrality a bit more actively, but TERMINUS builds of those lessons, I suppose.
I was looking at my bookshelves and my brain has abruptly started looping 'Oh we are the musical frogs! We live in the marshes and bogs! Sweet, sweet is the hymn, that we sing, as we swim, Brek-kek-kek-kek, koax, koax!'
I fear I may now have the cursed invocation of some elder god stuck in my head.

Stream/download the TERMINUS OST at osirissaline.bandcamp.com/album/termin...
It's released with a 'name your price' model, so it can be free, but if you DO choose to tip Sail, the composer, for their work then TODAY is the best time โ it's 'Bandcamp Friday', meaning Bandcamp doesn't take a cut!
The final KS update for TERMINUS!

Contents: the project is finished, thanks for the support, what's I'm doing next, and... TERMINUS has an ambient soundtrack!
I'll do a post on here about it when I get back from the post office. Thanks for the heads up!
๐ฎ I didn't know that!
Really good to see this editorial, very authoritative and very clear, stating that ADHD is NOT over-diagnosed in the UK. Let's hope the government's new review will listen to *literally all the most eminent experts we have* on this question.

This game is about to release into Early Access TODAY and I have a spare giveaway key. I'll post it into the replies for anyone to grab once this post reaches 500 reposts
Oh yeah, I'm thinking *fancy* thin paper. I know a bookbinding shop in London that's bound to have something good for it.
Well, I'm not really a 'localisation partner', but I do have this whole thing... www.patchworkfez.games/collaboration/

P.S. I backed the Bonsai Diary and this it's a neat game idea! I've been vaguely thinking of acquiring some nice Japanese paper to print it on, for the full effect.
If you have a collective that regularly goes to events and has a core 'catalogue', that's more awkward. Someone has to look after it all.
In terms of web shops, Shopify has a 'fulfil from location' option, so individual creators could fulfil their items despite them being in one online storefront.
I'm also looking forward to finding out how I handle logistics... ๐
I think it may be easier for me, as I'm planning to accept stock just before the expo, then give leftovers back to creators immediately afterwards, rather than keeping things long-term.

In the interests of being vaguely organised about this initiative, I've made a form.
If you're interested, submit this form by 11pm on Tues 31st March: forms.gle/rjRbWk6C4kdr...

It's a terrible genetic affliction. I need to complain at Dad about it again, but I'll have to check his calendar to see when he's free to call. ๐
I should make a little form, shouldn't I?
I'll do that now. ๐
