No, Alexis, don’t fall for it and put away the winter clothes. It’s one 70-degree day. The weather will betray you again soon enough.

I think that the time of year an album is released is so much more important than artists give it credit for. For example, Harry Styles’ new album is definitely enhanced for being released in early spring; TTPD two years ago suffered for being a fall/winter album released in April.
I think the penultimate episode of BoJack Horseman is the best piece of television I’ve ever seen.
Operation “I did a thing!”
If Crosby plays, Canada wins that game every time.
Any hockey game ever and “No One Knows” by Queens of the Stone Age, name a more iconic duo.
Despite my terminal millennial-ness, I’ve never been a fan of Hilary Duff’s music. But the new album was getting some buzz so I thought I’d throw it on. And now I can’t turn it off.
How is it that no matter where I stand at a concert I always end up directly behind some oblivious 6’4 guy?
I will never forgive NBC for being on commercial break for Mongolia.
The Italian National Anthem is absolutely gorgeous.

My hot take for the day: people who didn’t like the 2024 film “Civil War” missed its point.
So thrilled for “Sinners,” so not thrilled for a month of “‘Sinners’ is overrated” discourse.
The season one finale of Shoresy is the second best season finale of any TV show (behind “Two Cathedrals” from The West Wing) and that’s just that.
I am SO excited that I get to cover them when they’re here in February
It looks like Sinners is going to get shut out and I think that sucks
I’m starting to suspect that @iankarmel.bsky.social and the other AFE guys made the Golden Globes playlist for tonight.
The TV awards are pretty dull, they’re just mirroring the Emmys.
yay Teyana, yay Stellan, yay Jean Smart, yay Noah, absolute boo to these “play-by-play” announcers and their betting market updates. They suck.
Excited for the Golden Globes and rooting for Sinners to win as much as possible. I’ll throw some opinions on here once it starts.
What platform is it on?
Do you want to see the musical? I’ve got press tickets for next Thursday
Olivia Rodrigo and David Byrne singing “Burning Down The House” together is one of my favorite pick-me-up videos.
There has to be a term for the chronic typing handicap where you perpetually capitalize both the T and the H in words that start with TH. Whatever it’s called, I’ve got it.
Current mood: the sign language interpreter at Jacob Frey’s press conference
