I think this should get you fined as a company personally. if your staff are so swamped (7-8 mods to 50k members online at a time) that they can't even keep up with on-discord reports and have no way for new things to be mentioned you are understaffed and I hate you.

this literally should have been one email. but we live in hell.

if your game only allows bug reports through a massive discord server and then also the bug report channel is locked to new members and none of your few likely overworked chat mods will respond to questions about how to access said bug report channel I think you need to explode actually.

oh yeah it's not very high stakes it's more of a "damn this is so affordable to get. well shame I don't like it" when compared to my usual wistful window shopping of multihundred dollar out of print art books. popular fandoms dont know how good they've got it

it really is shocking how much self deprecation is seen as a cultural requirement for 'serious art.' 'real' artists are not allowed to exalt their work and must present it publicly as a sort of 'i dont think this is very good but maybe you will get around to it.' HECK THAT. love yourself

sometimes I miss the community aspect of being Fandom Active and then I interact even passively with the kind of people who exist loudly in Exclusively Fandom Spaces and it's like mmm. no thank you. not for me.

the truest love hate relationship on this earth is me + intuitiveness. it's so tempting to needlessly greeble the fuck out of something to make it look more complex but that is something I can only condone in visual art. A superfluous line of text would kill me.

the cost of making things efficient is that as soon as they're approaching a perfect state (easy to understand access etc) they look too simple to be considered finished. the specter of ttrpg development is that making a mechanic streamlined also makes it look kind of stupid.
