VVD for Mukiele very tempting, but don’t think I need to, if I get 11 out I’m happy enough whoever plays.

I think it’s only that I’m sacrificing a transfer for later down the line in either 33 if required, or 35 onwards for an end of season re-shuffle.

I’d also be giving myself a benching headache in 29 and 30 but so be it.

I don’t need Mukiele until 31 where he has a tough game. Is he even guaranteed to be back? Then I’d have to make a move anyway.

So then the question becomes can I cope with a random benching?

Who’s at risk of that? Timber and Dango? Is that it? I’d struggle to cover that if either happened.

Always fancied Dango for this week, original plan was for Enzo but I don’t envisage playing Rice before 31 so makes sense to bin him rather than someone playing in 31.

Sets me up nicely for the next few weeks and will hopefully only use one more transfer before 31 now.

No transfers (insert Ronaldo crying happy tears meme here) so finally rolling to 2 FT ready to bring back Thiago for Obi in 27.

I get it, exceptionally run club. But how much of Brentford the last couple of years has been Frank, Mbeumo, Wissa and Norgaard? Losing your captain and two star players and you’re in your first full season as a manager, in the Premier League, filling the shoes of Thomas Frank’s legacy? Amazing job.

I’m sure Arteta will get manager of the year if Arsenal win the league, but Keith Andrews should absolutely be in the running.
