Feels like a ton of potential in the industry has been squandered from the infinite growth mindset. I often think about what great games we might have seen if developers were allowed to just operate as they see fit instead of always needing to make the red line go up.
Game is incredible too. One of the few legitimate reasons to own a PSVR2.
Sill got it..
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is legitimately one of the best looking games on PS5. Generic, but undoubtedly beautiful.
Picked up the Analogue 3D recently and it finally gave me a legitimate reason to own this physically ๐ค๐ผ
I started playing through Pursuit Force on the PSP and I'm still impressed by the visuals this thing was pulling off back then
Posted a new video today on the Analogue Pocket!
This was a great watch, Jiikae. The history lesson I never knew I wanted. Mad respect on the quality of your output man.
DK Bananza preview at the Nintendo event earlier this year. Hyped to actually play it proper without the time limit lol. Just one of those games thatโs naturally satisfying to play and control.
Also, donโt sleep on Drag x Drive. Itโs honestly kinda fun for group sessions.
Man, it's crazy to realize that all of my favorite creators I've grown up with are at the age where they all talk about passing the torch. I really am getting old.
I hope we can get one or two more projects from Toyama before he calls it a day. Hopefully just as strange as Slitterhead.
Death Stranding 2
Death Stranding 2 combat has a little sauce to it ๐ฎโ๐จ
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
I can't speak to the quality of the port, but I've been having a lot of fun with Crazy Taxi on the Steam Deck. That game is addicting and surprisingly has a lot going on mechanically.
I can reach AWESOME rank fairly consistently but that CRAZY rank seems far fetched for me right now ๐
Tokyo Xtreme Racer
Tokyo Xtreme Racer running on the Steam Deck. I chose to lock it at 40fps to claw back some of the excellent visual fidelity this game has to offer and it still feels great to control.
While on the topic of great arcade racers, the reboot of Tokyo Xtreme Racer is remarkably good! I purchased it on my Steam Deck and I canโt stop thinking about it. I highly recommend it.
Iโve been helplessly addicted to this Switch 2 port of Ridge Racer. Managed to hit top 25 in Hi Score mode ๐
Sound designers remain the unsung heroes of the video game industry
One of my favorite aspects of this game is the sound design. Very well crafted and a large reason why the experience is as immersive as it is.
Committed to seeing Majoraโs Mask all the way through this time.
Thereโs something poetic about playing Death Stranding on a Steam Deck while collecting a Companion Cube. Full circle moment.
