I agree, but personally I'm happy to miss out if it means I'm not subject to the toxicity of X. My X account is long deleted. So far so good with bluesky for me, all I see is stuff I'm interested in.

Very distant barnacle geese on Crossens marsh, Southport.
Nice one ๐ I called in at Crossens early pm yesterday hoping to see the Todd's but no joy. I did however count 75+ barnacles. Amazing numbers about this year, great to see.

Great white egret with red ring at Lightshaw Flash this morn. Appears to have white writing but as far as I know not been read yet. Been around for ages between Lightshaw, Bickershaw & Pennington Flash. Suspect from Avalon marshes. Red with white not best combination for me ๐คฆ #UKBirding #birdringing

A remarkable looking marsh harrier at Martin Mere today #WWTMM. It's been around for a week or two. Presumably partial leucism or perhaps a very old female? Poor flight photos in the comments #LancsBirding #BirdingUK

I may see you there. The easiest way to see them is probably park at Slag lane car park & walk west along the canal & view either side of bridge no. 5. However viewing from here is quite distant & through trees. You'll get closer views by parking in Byrom Lane & walking past the hall to the screen.

27 Russian white-fronted geese with 4 greylags at the back.
I just had a feeling that Lightshaw Flash would be the best bet for Russian white-fronts in my area of Greater Manchester so decided to have a walk there from home this afternoon and found a nice flock of 27 birds #BirdingUK #Geese
