The comic I'm currently working on tells Zayne's story, past and present simultaneously. He represents many things to me, but most of all how trauma and PTSD can permanently alter who you are and that learning to accept yourself as forever changed is a difficult, but doable, journey.
Zayne was a social butterfly who could be a bit annoying, but his inherent charisma and silly personality made him difficult to dislike.
After zombification, Zayne lost nearly all sense of socialization and often hides within himself, rarely showing his human side. He's relearning how to be people.
I've been suffering severe mental and physical anxiety since Christmas, when I had a major panic attack. Nothing I've tried has helped. I'm unable to do much work to make ends meet and now I need to drop money on a doctor (I have no insurance.) Anything helps.
I tried so hard to prevent this, but I'm literally falling apart. I can barely eat and sleep. Thought I had it under control for almost a week, then my health took another nosedive. I feel like my body is trying to tear itself in half.

I actually encountered this issue a few times with my previous comic where folks were reading through it too quickly and not looking at the artwork itself, so they missed details in the art that contribute to the story.
The artwork is also the comic.

An important thing to note about this reboot is that the previous comics should be considered non-cannon when going into this new one.
Until I can do a few edits to STYGGO and Threatened for their re-release, do not consider them while reading Buried Bones.
