I got my first honey from my bees!!! I’m working with a local bee keeper to learn how to care for them myself. He came over yesterday to check on the bees and pulled out some “burr comb” or honey comb that has grown across two frames, as well as this one frame full of honey.

I am very sad to report that on Tuesday, I had to say goodbye to Nanner, my tabby cat. He was 16, had pancreatitis and his kidneys were failing. It was time. That doesn’t make it any easier.
