It's tough bcus art is a healthy outlet for lots of things like illness and working thru baggage etc, but sometimes I look at a body of work and it feels like the person has decided to *glorify* the antisocialness and tbh sometimes massive dysfunction. Then antisocial turns into worse.

Trying not to quibble too much online, but I feel like the lack of interest in others' work is sometimes just being super antisocial, even deliberately as a point of pride. And it can defs show up in ppl's work. Being disinterested in others tends to inflate the importance placed on your own work.
