Now that I have a good job and a comfortable home, I have multiple cats that are very happy and my kids have what they need for their education so they can go to college without worrying about how to get by. I still don’t have a lot, but I do what I can, and I’m glad I can.

I hate that there are such tragedies happening with kids and adoption. I have two adopted cousins (adults now) who are both very happy and have been in our family since they were days old. They’re ours. Always have been.
I guess I was naive thinking their experience would be the same for everyone.
