Makes me really appreciate Fes more. Though with this in mind, I'm still confused how we're four versions into P3 and Power Records still doesn't do anything

Fun Fact: Arcade Panic was actually given a function in Fes. In the original it was just a set piece. Combo this with Tanaka being during the day, by mid-game you run out of stuff to do at night if you can do Tartarus in one block. At least going to bed early gives Great status.

Having Gun in P5 was kinda cool, but anything that nulled or above physical ended up also blocking Gun too so it still ends up making them feel the same. It also didn't help that there were only like 6 Gun skills in Royal.

I appreciate P4 trying to differentiate itself from 3, but merging all of the physical types was such a bad call, especially since it ended up bleeding into P5. I hope with how successful Reload was they bring back the three physical types.

Project for school...you can pinpoint the exact segment where I ran out of time and all the timing and such started going way out of whack 'n' no good at all...still, I'm proud of the first half

SP management gets pretty tame by Futaba, especially if you max out Takemi, but Kamoshida is the worst of it in this version. Congratulations on getting past the most challenging of it!

Seeing someone post about vanilla P5 makes me very happy since it was my first Persona game. Hope you enjoy!

Speaking of Kamoshida, during my recent re-playthrough I had to use the free Soma dlc just to do it in one go, and even then I still ran out. And that was just on Hard mode since I forgot to download Merciless. I prefer Royal way more but man early game Vanilla was so good

Something I love about early game Vanilla P5 is how kinda difficult SP management was. I remember in my recent playthrough I was having trouble with how to best use my SP all the way up to Futaba and it felt great. Kinda sucks SP management basically doesn't matter anymore in Royal

The game already fridged Peko, why are we trying to fride another female character just for a superficial one sided relationship? At least Hiyoko and Fuyuhiko paralleled each other with their themes of atonement & forgiveness. There are way better ways of "developing" Kazuichi

The "Sonia should die in Chapter 3" argument is so fucking stupid because most of the time it eventually leads to "it would also develop Kazuichi" but no one ever elaborates on how. Kazuichi only liked Sonia for her looks and realistically he would at most be really sad but move on eventually

I wonder what Penguin_Knight is up to nowadays?

Out of all of the Velvet Room attendant bosses, Margaret Portable struck the perfect balance of difficulty but also felt fair. Liz/Theo is bullshit while 4 Margaret and the Twins are not all that difficult. Lavenza was really close but phase 3 being RNG dependent hinders the enjoyment a bit

Not sure if this is still true in Royal but I just learned that in Vanilla, the Reaper doesn't like when Makarakarn is up and will pivot to Concentrate Megidolaon instead of trying to hit weaknesses. Honestly makes the fight easier if anything.

Speaking of vanilla P5, L for making this design and having it only be playable for said final day. Royal isn't any better but one more boss is nice I guess

Yoshitsune in P4 was so insanely broken that vanilla P5 had to restrict that dude to the final day of the game. Hell even with that restriction he was still debatably the best Persona in that game, with the only competition being Kaguya

Thank fuck I never did this and just adjusted my strategy with guarding instead. Though a part of me still wished I gave Mitsuru more health so she wouldn't burn Enduring Soul so quickly when hit by two back to back Fire spells.
