End of a very hard trip to @spurnbirdobs.bsky.social … winds all ‘wrong’ but always a warm and friendly place to be….. arrived home and within minutes was driving over to see @marcbuzzard.bsky.social Wryneck… Top Bird and find 🥳

Spent an hour in a local woodland looking for edible mushrooms…. Obliviously I only harvested a small amount and only specimens I knew to be edible…. I left these stunning Fly Agaric ☠️….

Genuinely I found/find Bluesky a weird experience…. I posted images ( I thought they weee nice) and they get like 4-5 views …. Ok not everything is about likes etc but just seems DEAD …. And worse no Rare bird news/images . Hopefully things will change 🙏🤞

Tried for this today , late afternoon really and the wind had picked up made viewing difficult. Sadly missed, but I was lucky to see the one that frequented off Puffin island, Llanfairfechan in the early 2000’s . Glad you got it mate 👍
