I’ve always said the zip code you grow up in should have nothing to do with your access to public school education.
I held a forum in Rockford to hear from educators on how I can support our schools and kiddos who will grow up to be explorers, inventors, makers, and doers.
Year round E-15 just makes sense: it will lower your gas prices while creating markets for our farmers.
I’m sick of my Republican colleagues dragging their feet on this. Lowering costs and supporting our farmers shouldn’t be political.
Let’s get it done.

Today, we mark the fourth anniversary of Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine. We remember the lives lost in the fight for freedom, honor the strength and resilience of our Ukrainian-American neighbors here in Illinois, and reaffirm our commitment to standing with our ally in the fight for democracy.
