Returning home from Sheffield, where I saw ‘The Ladies Football Club’ at the Crucible. Great play: brilliant ensemble acting, imaginative choreography, great script and an important story about women’s football (and other issues) at the end of World War 1. Well worth seeing.

Port Vale’s pitch looks like a graveyard for any footballing team. You never know, you might catch Arsenal or Citeh on an off day. It does happen - occasionally.

It’s astonishing that high-profile media interviewers let them get away with saying things like that. Very much part of the problem.
It was just so bizarre - International Women’s Day, an all female panel, then suddenly she’s interviewing Jenrick, who knows bugger all about anything.
Robert Jenrick is not a serious politician. Why have him on, spouting about ‘vague notions of international law?’
