Or the only muppet is McAfee!
Definitely late to the party, but just starting to watch The Bear. Not sure Iβve ever identified with a character more than Carmy. Damn.
Weβll take wins however we can get them at this point!
Black balloons!
Someone in the athletic department is panic overnighting thousands of black balloons after seeing this.
So proud of my girls headed to the #nokings in Lex today. When I saw Ginβs sign I was so proud, but so sad that weβve let our country get to the point where an 11-year old feels she has to stand for those who canβt.Wishing peace to all demonstrating today. Thanks for standing for those who canβt.
YES
Used to be the DoB at Sul Ross back when they were D3. Very cool town. Not always great at football. 70 miles to Wal mart.
Man this Troopers show hits ya right in the feels, amirite, @sickoscommittee.org ?
Iβve read no comments, but Iβll say I think if youβre asking this question then you *really* want the kittens.
I dunno. Youβve posted twice today. Seems obsessive. π
Itβs so sad. The cruelty is the point. I hate it.
At the airport waiting for my first flight back towards home. Canβt wait to get to my girls, but man what an awesome trip. Such kind, generous, and talented students. Thanks to Camilo Toro for the invitation - canβt wait to collaborate again soon!
Iβm super excited for tonightβs concert, but the highlight of the day so far (even after an AWESOME Schumann run through), was getting to watch Ginnyβs 5th grade farewell and hear her band perform. Super proud of this adventurous, confident, happy young woman!
Fantastic finally rehearsal in Colombia today, followed by a delicious arepa dinner filled with beef, cheese, chicharrone, and served with delicious sauces and washed down with a really nice local pale ale. Concert tomorrow! (Pic for algorithm - my colleague Camilo conducting a Mozart aria)
Wonderful rehearsal today in a beautiful hall. This orchestra is on fire!
Another awesome day in Colombia. Today we traveled outside of the city to do a cheese tasting, had a wonderful lunch, and stopped at the biggest plant nursery Iβve ever seen. Back to the music tomorrow!
Thanks for the updates, Amy! Currently in a country where I canβt watch so refreshing your page is the second best thing!
Jazzed to be back in Medellin to complete a residency at Universidad de Antioquia. Conducting Schumann 4 (1841), judging a conducting competition, and working with conducting students. The city is beautiful and vibrant. Excited to explore more!
Iβve had the same thing for about the last 10 days. Honestly - I think for me itβs just like constant, latent anxiety from whatβs happening in the world. Nothing seems to help consistently. Frustrating. Hope you can find something that works for you!
I believe itβs also illegal. Iβm not sure why weβre letting him get away with it. Wish I could say Iβm surprised.
These bands sound fantastic.
βFundamentals over fads.β Yes. You helped teach me that!
Iβve seen plenty of guys wear headphones while golfing. I much prefer that to the blaring Bluetooth speaker that I can hear from 3 holes away π
I feel the same on the golf course. If I wanted rave music Iβd go to a rave.* I donβt need it in the 12th fairway. Birdsong, breeze, and obscenities under oneβs breath are all I need.
*I would not, in fact, go to a rave so itβs possible Iβm just a curmudgeon.
Thanks for everything, Amie!
And hates kickers because heβs a Bears fan π€£ππ€£ Classic line
(And yes, to answer your question. Specifically the Utah band at the sugar bowl in 2009. I still donβt want to block 350 pound humans, though)
