Really great win after a mediocre first half for Arsenal. We had some good chances from open play but once again set pieces proved to be our savior, even without Gabriel. Nicolas Jover is a hero.

Great win. Saka proves again that he is one of the best in the world.
Absolutely mental half there. The Saka and Γdegaard linkup is immense to the team and anyone who has said otherwise is so clearly wrong.
Besides that, not the best half from Calafiori there but canβt complain about too much when up 5-2.
Not to mention Madrid without Vini and Tchouameni in the UCL
You are good at this rage bait thing
Stellar performance. Timber MOTM for me.
We are back and get a much needed away UCL win.
Halftime thoughts:
This is 22/23 Arsenal with overpowered set pieces. We are so far back we just need to stay healthy from here.
Also Timber is world class.
Last time we played Sporting I was at the Emirates. We lost on penalties, lost Saliba and Tomiyasu for the season, and were knocked out of the Europa League. It can be argued that our chances of winning the league evaporated that day as well. Today is a day for revenge.
Come on you gunners.
This is the Liverpool from last season again. They are relying on a bit of luck to carry them but at some point it will fade. The only question is if we can stay close enough to them to take advantage when it does.
0.94 xG today just unlucky. Itβs not like you could have had 28 points from two forwards that cost less than him combined
Not going to overreact based on a five game stretch but maybe this is not as bad for Arsenal as first thought
Arsenalβs goal scoring leaders in all competitions this season:
1. Bukayo Saka
2. Kai Havertz
3. Ethan Nwaneri
That performance was from the Arsenal I know and love. I missed it so much.
There were some very questionable yellows in that half but regardless I think we might just have our swagger back
I thought the semi-automated offside was supposed to come early on in the season. Got delayed once and havenβt heard about it since. Wouldβve been nice to have there.
Definitely an unexpected lineup based on the leaks I was seeing.
Iβve been waiting for Jorginho to start over Partey for some time so that is a welcome sight. Jesus over Havertz seems very random especially because Havertz only played 30 mins in his last match.
Nevertheless, COYG.
This is not the best for Arsenal and probably means City beat the 115 charges but there are a couple small pros.
1. Itβs only a year when it easily could have been more. (Would like to know who or what triggers the extension)
2. Arteta gets another chance to beat Pep to a league title
He will probably play 270 but for the sake of the game Iβll say 247
