West Sussex Conservative Association have been suspended by Tory leader Kemi Badenoch. No surprise here, a bunch of otter lovers!

Ukrainian boy is standing inside his destroyed house with the only family he has left, his cat.
Never forget. Never forgive.
Complaining about & blaming Keir Starmer for a long-scheduled, still uncertain, six month distant increase in fuel prices literally *hours* after calling for more war in the Middle East is quite the flex. These are not serious people.
A UK form of ICE, War with brown people somewhere, they don't care where, but it'll happen. Support Putin and Trump in whatever they want, and some nice backhander for all their mates.
But there is a good reason why he was stripped of it, animal cruelity, hardly an upstanding person representing the honour. The start of the article is misleading, to say the least
Convenient timing for this with the May elections approaching. Starmer is clear that the bases are for defence only. It is hard to call it a 'colonial' risk when the 1960 Treaty, signed by all parties, legally established the SBAs as sovereign. This feels like a political game.
Why does Trump's strategy in Iran sound like Putin's in 2022 in Ukraine and still now?
This is a very well produced pisstake.

Actually, the "high CAPEX" tag is becoming a myth. For solar and onshore wind, construction costs are now often lower than new fossil plants.
It's probably good that Starmer stays out; he's playing it well. Trump is going to get bogged down in the war in Iran.
If it were all "the same project," the UK would be part of the offensive campaign right now. The fact that we have explicitly said no to strikes proves there is a line being drawn. You can't ignore a major policy shift just because it doesn't fit a simple narrative.
Comparing international security treaties to domestic abuse is a bit of a stretch. If we can't discuss the actual geopolitical costs and legal realities of the Cyprus bases without those kinds of analogies, then we aren't really having a conversation about foreign policy anymore.
They won't, as being in a cult means such things are not their fault, and they will always find someone else to blame because of boat people and "illegal" migrants. These cultists never take responsibility for the damage they cause others or themselves.
The problem is that the Sovereign Base Areas in Cyprus are part of an intelligence-sharing framework. Even if Starmer says no, "switching off" the intel would represent a fundamental break in the Special Relationship. It is less about being a "bitch" and more about the cost of diplomatic isolation.
They're talking about Iran, not Gaza, don't change the subject.
And yet, Sunderland voted for Brexit.
But he's not; he said no to the strikes. You may not like him, but he's balancing this very well.
I totally agree with this, not to mention the illegal act in the first place.
The UK is slightly different to other European countries; in France, the point of local news and local programmes is more defined, and people watch them more. But I get your point.
That may be true in North America, but not so much in Europe.
They're targeting the over-60s, not really good for building a future audience.
What is going on with the BBC? QT appearances since the start of the year. Why are reform getting the same airtime as Labour and the Tories?
As I pointed out even before the G&D by-election, the weighted favouritism towards Reform/Farage is blindingly obvious.

You've moved from calling the US/Israel the 'Axis of Evil' to lecturing me on how adults interact, while calling me names because you can't answer a simple question about a clock. I've not used a single insulting comment; I've just pointed out you're soapboxing, regardless of the names you call me
Providing Reuters timestamps and Hansard records to correct a false timeline isn't "lashing out", it is called being right. If you have nothing to say about the strike on the RAF base or the requests for help from the UAE and Jordan, then you've proven my point about the soapbox.
"I merely commented" is the ultimate retreat. You jumped into a thread about a specific military strike, ignored the actual event, used it to air unrelated grievances, and then told the person providing factual evidence to "grow up.
You're lecturing me on how adults interact while calling me a 'child' and a 'fantasist' because you have no answer for a timestamp. You've spent this entire exchange policing my tone and my choice of examples to avoid those numbers. People block when they can't handle the evidence.
