I once went to a doctor who GOOGLED MY SYMPTOMS IN FRONT OF ME
At least pretend you have to go to the bathroom like every high schooler worried about failing an exam

I once went to a doctor who GOOGLED MY SYMPTOMS IN FRONT OF ME
At least pretend you have to go to the bathroom like every high schooler worried about failing an exam
I write a lot of my first draft on my phone, but I can handwrite if desperate. Dictating for me just produces a rambling mess
A musician wrote a song about my butt. I did not know this guy. (I do now)
My butt was also reviewed in a newspaper. Not my performance in the show (sketch comedy), just my butt
I found out about the review because a friend saw it and RECOGNIZED THE DESCRIPTION
Cover of my book. Hand on right is the random person I asked would model for the photo
I knew how I wanted my 1st book cover but didn't know anyone w/ the right hands for the LI. At a movie, the person next to me had the EXACT HANDS. After, I said, "So this may be weird, but..."
They did the shoot & have come to two readings where people have them also sign books

I guess it's because life is uncertain. Sure, I'd like things to be happy, but you never know. It also doesn't finish the story. It isn't like the end, it's just a part of their lives we're witnessing
Ack!
I like it to be open. It's leaning to happy, but it hasn't been declared
Seattle is anti-umbrella
They're all from Seattle
1st. This may be because I come from an acting background
As a Seattleite, I agree!
Someone please call the brand new job Shield of Americas a participation trophy to her face
I've had to do that! Fortunately for me, I have had stage combat training, so I hit the ground in a roll and came out unscathed
I climbed onto the Berlin Wall when East German soldiers weren't sure if they were still supposed to shoot you for that
I was also born without a hip socket
Yes. My first book is set in high school, and I was initially trying to make it too realistic because, in actual life, you talk to many people in various classes. It led to an overwhelming number of characters, so I cut all the ones who weren't doing much except being at the lunch table or whatever
I took it to mean she was pointing out Noem was, without qualifications, disagreeing with a judge on a legal matter
Some super niche reference no one will get but which amuses me. In my most recent book, someone wonders if the menu will be steak or fish, and it turns out to be lasagna. In my WIP, the researcher passing on the information the characters need has the last name of Goby
My WIP is going really dark, so no. She does (spoiler) find a new life on her own though
WIP:
Book One injuries plus
Character getting so facially scarred in an accident, she can't take how people she knows now view her, and she runs away
#AwesomeCharacters
Book Two:
The injuries from Book One plus
Forehead scar from a jealous wife throwing dishes (he was NOT cheating)
Scarification denoting an Australian's indigenous ancestry
Vet who lost part of his leg in Vietnam
Mom with severe enough arthritis she can no longer climb stairs

I hadn't thought about it before, but there is a lot of injury in my books.
Book One:
Hip dysplasia birth defect plus an arm scar from climbing through a broken window to save her friend's life
Scarred nose from a high school fight

Pfft, that isn't alphabetized. There's a long way to go before destruction
Wait, it's true??????? You just made my day
If I reference The French Connection (driving under the ex-Seattle viaduct always reminded me of it), very few people know what I'm talking about
I really wanted the ending of this story to be, "And, we just celebrated our (however many years it's been since this movie came out) anniversary"
Define "running"
Tao of Twin Peaks cover
Day 30: last book read
28b: Last book I read: Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Even in David Lynch's world
Also, there is zero mention of Albert

Bob Roberts. Not what you're going for, but it's terrifying
I've been saying that since November of 2024. It does shock people, so proceed with caution
Yes, but he also wrote "Bad Blood" which balances it out
